MORE THAN HYPE创立于2009年6月20日，是大马唯一报导中英文对照的时尚潮流网站。这个网站的起源来自于3位拥有共同目标及梦想的热血青年，我们希望透过此网站与大马及世界各地的年青人分享我们非常热爱的街头时尚文化。
至于MORE THAN HYPE这个名字的起源则来自于我们觉得在街头潮流文化中，不应该限制自己的生活态度于只专注做或穿着HYPE(很潮，很有型)的东西，我们应该留意或做更多比HYPE还重要的事物。
除此之外，我们所报导的街头潮流文化资讯也不会限制于世界各地时尚潮流圈的各种事物，我们也尽力报导更多有关大马本土的街头潮流文化资讯，因为我们希望本土或世界各地热爱街头潮流文化的年青人也留意我们本土时尚潮流圈的事物，同一时间我们也希望能将大马的街头潮流文化推广至世界各地。
MORE THAN HYPE, established on 20th June 2009, is Malaysia’s one and only Chinese / English online lifestyle website. It is made with passion from 3 founders who share the same dream and are very keen on sharing with the young peeps or the younger generation about streetwear lifestyle.
It is named MORE THAN HYPE because we feel that in a streetwear lifestyle, we shouldn’t be limiting ourselves into only doing hype stuff or dressing hype, we should be doing more than hype.
In this website, we are not only delivering international lifestyle infos, we are also doing our best to give more of our local lifestyle infos. We hope to not only share with our local peeps how our local lifestyle scene is doing, but we hope to bring our local lifestyle scene to a higher international stage.
