MTH : 2010 新年快乐! / HAPPY NEW YEAR!

2009年对于我们MORE THAN HYPE团队来说可谓相当精彩，今年MORE THAN HYPE从一个寂寂无名的本地潮流文化网站直至成为薄有名气的网站之一。当中我们曾被邀请至多个活动，我们曾与多个本地单位合作联名企划，我们曾被赞赏，我们曾被批评，我们曾经失望，我们曾经满怀希望，短短半年间一路以来的心路历程虽然艰辛，但是我们不会气馁。只要一天有街头文化的存在，只要一天有众潮人/街头时尚文化爱好者/艺术领域工作者们的支持，我们依然还会继续下去，而且还会一年比一年更好！我们会歇尽所能！

于即将到来的2010年，我们希望看到本土的街头文化更广为人知，也希望所有人能同心合力把本土的街头文化带至另一个领域。

大家一起来迎接更美好的2010到来吧！

This last year has been a great one for MORE THAN HYPE, in 2009 we emerged from nothing to something, well not something too much but at least a something. We’ve been invited to a few events, we’ve been praised, we’ve been criticized, we’ve been let down, and up as well, we’ve done some collaborations with our fellow local brands and yea we’ve gone through a lot in this year alone. It’s undeniably a tiring yet exciting year but yet we have not given up on doing our best yet as without you peeps support, we won’t be doing what we are doing right now and we promise we will do much better next year to give you peeps out there the best we could offer from this website.

This coming year then, let us look forward to a brighter world. Let us offer you peeps questions and answers you all longed to solve on street cultures and let us unite as one for our local scenes and make the best out of ourselves.

Medicom Toy x Stussy - "XXX" Bearbrick

较早前已为大家报导经典街牌Stussy的30周年"XXX"系列，如今再为大家延续这个话题，眼前所见的就是Stussy联同Medicom Toy合作推出的Bearbrick公仔，其身上除穿着拥有"XXX"标记的夏威夷恤衫外，也佩戴墨镜及颈上挂着相机(早前Stussy也与Ricoh推出联名相机)。此联名熊仔为Bearbrick第19弹中的其中一款隐藏款式，马上去抽选吧！

Previously we had showed you release of Stussy Spring 2010 "XXX" Collection to commemorate their 30th Anniversary, now Stussy had teamed up with Medicom Toy into releasing a Bearbrick all dressed in Aloha Shirt with Stussy “XXX” at the back while wearing a camera (Stussy had done a collaboration with Ricoh camera as well) and a sunglasses. Krazee Duck, Malaysia up and coming label have had their 2nd series released before the end of 2009 named "RESPECT" and the label had invited Malaysia’s renown VJ Gan Mei Yan as well as actor Aric Ho for a limited crossover. A lookbook had been done for the crossover and to make things interesting, Krazee Duck had invited local famous fashion designer Ken Wong to customize both their Battle tees. The theme "RESPECT" came about as Krazee Duck thinks we all should respect each other especially the talents or people behind the local scenes who’s doing their best into making our local scenes better. 经典街牌Stussy将于2010年踏入其品牌的30周年纪念，而此重要的大日子当然也有一系列的纪念单品将陆续发布。整个系列以30周年的"XXX"图案为主题，并推出帽夹，卫衣，Tee，恤衫，牛仔裤及网帽等等。全系列已于本月26日起在日本上架！
